Fit For Hope's Hurricane Relief Efforts Shared on

In an effort to meet the incredible demand by South Walton residents for opportunities to help in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael, Visit South Walton has assembled a directory of nonprofits, businesses, and churches working to provide relief to those impacted by the storm.

SANTA ROSA BEACH, FL Oct. 26, 2018 — Today, Fit For Hope joined a number of nonprofits, businesses, and churches featured on, a directory published by Visit South Walton to help South Walton residents identify giving and volunteering opportunities in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael.

The site, which provides contact information for local relief organizations, lists dates and times for past and upcoming benefits, and links to emergency relief funds, now serves as the digital hub for South Walton residents looking for ways to donate their time and finances to helping those affected by the storm.

We are incredibly honored to be included on, especially considering we are uniquely positioned to unite the fitness community of South Walton for the benefit of those devastated by Hurricane Michael.

Through the site, residents can give to our dedicated relief fund, which is being used to secure safe housing for families affected by the storm, sign-up to volunteer a #SaturdayInSouthport, or learn where to drop needed supplies.

Having spoken with a number of emergency response team leads who have experienced first-hand the costly consequences of poorly organized relief efforts, we cannot express just how thankful we are to see the county stepping up, and helping to organize our community’s incredibly generous response to the destruction wrought upon the panhandle.
